This is a fully working light unit using a single LED unit contained within the head of the lamp.

For our test we used a battery holder (as supplied by ikea) which held 2 x AA 1.5 v batteries an together giving the required 3 volts.  You could if you chose use an old variable DC power controller set to minimal voltage to light up several of these lights

Of ultra modern design, this two posted light unit can fit into any layout or model scene.

Very simple to fit and only requiring an single 8 mm hole drilled in the base board with the foot of the light simple pushed into the hole.  The power connector is then applied from below the base board from where you add the 3 volt (17 mA) supply to power up the light unit.  As there are two light units in the pack, Herpa have supplied on 2 core (yellow/White) length of wire approx 4 metres long with a power feed connector at each end leaving you to cut the wire to the desired length prior to adding the 3 volt supply

The design is simple and effective - whilst the lamps are supplied ready made, they can come apart with ease, it is not recommended to dissemble the parts but if you do please be careful not to loose the small parts  namely the LED fitment which is press fitted into the lamp head - no spares are available.

Pack contains 2 light units (Light head size = 11 x 8 mm) and two power feeds connected to one length of wire approx 4 metres long, detailed instructions in German and English
